After an energizing breakfast, you will embark on your Mount Kilimanjaro adventure. Ascend from the Marangu Gate through lush rainforest to reach Mandara Hut. The dense jungle teems with life, from vibrant birds to playful Colobus monkeys. Along the way, you'll be treated to sweeping views of Northern Tanzania and even neighboring Kenya. In the dead of night, you’ll begin your final ascent to Uhuru Peak. With determination and grit, you will push through the steep scree and snow-covered trails to reach Gilman’s Point. From there, it’s a final, exhilarating push to the summit – Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa at 5,895m (19,340ft). The view from the top is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, one you will cherish forever. After celebrating your triumph, descend to Horombo Hut to rest.
